Set sail with the world’s most traveled filmmaker, Marlin Darrah, on a journey to many of Southeast Asia’s most intriguing, alluring and lovely countries.  The voyage begins in Hong Kong, then travels south to several locations in Vietnam: the exciting back streets of old Hanoi; the dramatic beauty of the ancient karst limestone mountains rising out of Ha Long Bay; the temples and markets of Hoi An; and to Saigon, the dynamic and hustling city near the great Mekong River. 

Next are highlights of Angkor Wat, in Cambodia.  This 1000-year-old marvel is the largest complex of religious temples in the world.  From the ancient to the ultra-modern, the journey continues to the grand trading entrepot of Singapore. We also visit places in Thailand, such as Bangkok, and the paradise isles of Similan, Ko Phi Phi , Phuket and Phang Nga Bay.  Indonesia is next with an exploration of the fabled Spice Islands of Ternate and Tidore.  Then finally to the great and incomparable island of Bali, with its terraced rice fields bordered by villages of artists and dancers.
